Card Sets

For lack of a better name - I am calling these 'card sets'. All cards in the set use the same cuts of card stock and for the most part the same type of embellishments. The differences are from the stamp used, colors, embossing folders, anything to make it unique.
These are ideas for my $2 card party (see more details on my calendar) This way I can cut card stock and ribbon, package in a baggie with the other embellishments and the customers can personalize by their choice of stamps and embossing folders.
These examples are pretty simple but the customers are free to jazz them up by coloring the images, using additional punches, piercing or faux-stitching, or anything that will make it personally theirs.

Most of these use retired ribbon and embellishment (trying to use some of my stash - will never use all of it!) The stamp sets for this set of cards are all retired but I can always find something in the catalog that is comparable :-)
Card stock - So Saffron, Chocolate Chip, Perfect Plum, Whisper White
Ink - Wild Wasabi, Chocolate Chip
Ribbon - retired Wild Wasabi
Embossing folder - Houndstooth used on the Chocolate Chip.

This one has the eyelet border to make it unique.
Card stock - Certainly Celery, Rose Red, Marina Mist, Perfect Plum, Whisper White
Ink - Rose Red, Perfect Plum
Embossing folder - Houndstooth
Tools- Ticket corner punch, Eyelet border punch , Sanding block used on the Rose Red
Ribbon - 1/4 inch grosgrain Certainly Celery (not sure if it is still available or not)

I thought I would try a little something different for the sentiment on this one.
Card Stock - Pretty in Pink, Daffodil Delight, Not Quite Navy, Whisper White
Ink - Not Quite Navy
Ribbon - 1/4 inch grosgrain Pretty in Pink (not sure if that is still available)
Embossing folder - Polka Dots
Tools - Ticket Corner punch, Modern Label punch

I have a lot of the 1/4 inch grosgrain in a variety of colors. Not sure which ones are still available but they do have a wide selection of this ribbon - and you can always use the white ribbon and dye it to match.
Card stock - Bashful Blue, Certainly Celery, Chocolate Chip
Ink - Chocolate Chip, Certainly Celery
Ribbon - 1/4 inch grosgrain Certainly Celery
Embossing Folder - Vintage Wallpaper
Tool - Ticket corner punch

I think this is my favorite color combination. I don't have a lot of this ribbon left so when it is gone they will have to find something else to use. I guess some white ribbon might look nice on the bold colors.
Card Stock - Island Indigo, Rich Razzleberry, Perfect Plum, Whisper White
Ink - Island Indigo
Embossing Folder - Elegant Lines
Ribbon - Retired IN color dotted ribbon Rich Razzleberry
Tools - Ticket corner punch, Modern Label punch and Word Window punch

So - does anything strike your fancy? Why not join us at the $2 card party. You can make as many cards as you like within the 3 hour time frame (or come to more than one session if you need more). You can choose what kits/colors you want. You do not have to make one of each or anything like that. If you want a group of cards that are all the same - you can.
All supplies are provided and envelopes too. I plan to come up with a couple Christmas designs in case someone wants to get a head start on their Christmas cards.
