DSP Challenge - who's game?

I challenge my fellow SU bloggers to post at least one card or project each week that uses some of the beautiful designer series papers offered through SU. I have loads of it but am very 'cautious' when it comes to using it - which is crazy!. SO who's game? Here are some things I have done with DSP.
This one uses Sunny Garden.

What a colorful birthday card using Celebrations DSP!

This is an Explosion Card. The DSP is from the collection pack of Regals (Bravo Burgundy) You can get 4 designs in each of the beautiful SU colors!

This card uses the Presto Paper - it is white with a white embossed design on it. The design is not noticeable until you add some color to the paper using a brayer, spritz, sponge, etc.
I used a brayer and Cajun Craze ink pad on this one, then used Early Espresso ink to stamp the leaf images. One of my favorites!

More turquoise

More turquoise cards. I am feeling much better and spent most of the evening getting my fill of turquoise :-) Here are the others I designed.

This is one of the wiper cards. You pull the sides outward and .....
his hat appears blowing in the wind. The picture just doesn't do it justice :-)




This is one of my favorites. I love the black with the turquoise and green galore. The ribbon on the card inspired my color choices.

And another. This one has an embossed flower in the oval. I am getting to like embossing too.


This is the other ribbon inspiration.

And this one is inspired by my daughter's wedding colors - cornflower and buttercup - not exactly a match but I was close.
That's it for tonight. I believe I am turquoised out :-) for a while.

Tempting Turquoise Challenge

Feeling puny today so stayed home and caught up on some documentation that I need to read. Took a lunch break and challenged myself to use up some of the Tempting Turquoise card stock that I have on hand.
This was my first one - I think it will be the card I take for a shoebox swap in November.
Any time I do 'snow' I have to do a snow angel. I played with my watercolor pencils and blender pen on this one. I really like these kids!
This uses one of the impressions I made over the weekend with my sister's Sizzix die cut. I didn't want to cover up all the impression work with another piece of card stock so just used the small sentiment.
And this one is similar. Nice and simple.

One more - even simpler.
Pulled out some ribbon and Kiwi Kiss - like that color combo.
Back to another simple one. The flower and butterfly are also diecuts made using the Sizzix. I rubbed it with a sponge of the tempting turquoise ink to give it more depth.
And on this one I rubbed ink on the torn edge too - I like how it give it more dimension.



More ribbon and Kiwi Kiss - but still a pretty basic, simple card.
And one more - the kiwi kiss makes a good background for the turquoise die cut.
