Mini Scrapbook

I saw this mini scrapbook on DOStamping with Dawn and just had to try one. I made changes of course :-) . I am thinking I might have a Kids' Workshop before Mother's Day so was trying to come up with kid-easy options.

It opens up and has 6 'pages' on each side for notes or photos. I used a variety of Stampin Up card stock, stamps, inks and punches. The base is made from a sheet of 12 x 12 inch Soft Suede. The front cover is Melon Mambo and Sahara Sand. A scrap of the Sahara Sand tinted Bride paper punched with the Scallop Border. The stamp is from Three Little Words.

These pages are Very Vanilla, Sahara Sand and Melon Mambo. The Scallop Border punch and Scallop Edge punch were used. The flower is from the Three Little Words stamp set. I used Melon Mambo and Old Olive inks.
I used the Bella's Border wheel and Versamark on the Mellow Mos page. A strip of Melon Mambo punched with the Scallop Border was added to the Apricot Appeal square.

Soft Suede photo corner punches were added to a Blossom Blush. A Blossom Blush 5-Petal Flower punch stamped with a Melon Mambo Little Flower adorns the Melon Mambo page.
The back cover is Melon Mambo. The polka dot ribbon is attached under the back cover. The Picture This message was stamped in Always Artichoke.

Going back on the other side I have Very Vanilla stamped with the Good Neighbors stamps in Always Artichoke and Ballet Blue. A Bashful Blue corner punch was added. The Apricot Appeal sheet was stamped-off with the WOW Flowers using Old Olive.



Here I have Very Vanilla with Melon Mambo picture corners. On the other page is Blossom Blush with a strip of Melon Mambo stamped with a Picture This sentiment in Rich Razzleberry.

The Creamy Caramel crimped scrap was punched with the Flower Trio. On the Very Vanilla I stamped the Good Neighbors stamp set using Always Artichoke and Ballet Blue.

And that brings us back to the front. If I do a Kids' Workshop I think I will have the accordion pieces put together and then front and back covers assembled that they can choose for their project. I will make up the page decorations and they can just pick the one they want. I may have 2 or 3 that they can stamp themselves just so they get to stamp something. Wouldn't it make a great Mother's Day present :-)
