"Colorful Bride" cards

I made all the colorful bride paper a couple days ago so I had to try a few cards with it. This one used the Ruby Red colorful Bride with Melon Mambo ribbon and ink. The stamp set is Ever After (I love it!) and the hardware is from the Hodgepodge Hardware collection. I used Very Vanilla for the card base and background for the heart.

This one is sort of "art deco" - I used the striped Bride paper and the background was inked with Sahara Sand. The vase is punched using the Ornament punch from a piece of the Bride paper inked with Perfect Plum. I stamped the flower from the Three Little Words set directly onto the inked Bride paper using Rich Razzleberry. I used the 'dots' from the Extreme Elements stamp set on the right hand side and added a Rich Razzleberry polka dot bow. The vase is not quite so 'blended' in real life but it does seem to 'disappear' into the Sahara Sand. Kind of diffferent :-)

This uses more of the Perfect Plum stripe. The stamp set is the Wings of Friendship. I scattered some flowers in Rich Razzleberry and added the Rich Razzleberry ribbon (It is reversible so this time I used the side that did not have the polka dots). The card base is Sahara Sand.

Glorious Green! This one used the Ever After stamp set again (Did I say I love that set!) The ribbon is Very Vanilla and it is on a Very Vanilla card base. I used the Scallop Square punch for the Love label.

Here I used Ballet Blue ink and the Three Little Words stamp set again (another of my favorites). I used the Modern Label and Wide Oval punches. The Bella Border roller was used for the border. The metal dots are not from Stampin Up. ( I think I need to buy the roller guide as I went a little uphill on my rolling :-) WISHLIST!!!

Those are just a few - but some of my favorites - and some just interesting.

Aunt Mary, I think we've reached the point where I'd rather just buy your cards than attempt to make/copy them myself and end up in disaster. :)

Ah - you can do it - we can play with them next weekend. We are going to do something with the inked Bride paper at Debbie's so you will get to try that and then Saturday night we can just 'play' :-)
