Card Party - Feb 18

Today we had freezing rain and sleet storms all day. We are one big frozen tundra and they are saying snow is coming on top of that. YUCK! So I got busy on prepping some cards for a card party on Feb 18.

This is our patio furniture - look at the icicles. And all the glittery stuff is sleet on top of the frozen rain. My hobby meteorologist husband says we probably got 2 inches of sleet. The snow has just started.

This is one of my favorite cards. I call it Glitter Love.

Paper: Very Vanilla c.s, Basic Black c.s., Newsprint DSP, Glitter paper
Stamp Sets: Punch Potpourri, Heard from the Heart
Ink: Real Red

And isn't this bright and cheery? Just what I needed today a Bright Hello.

Paper: Daffodil Delight, Melon Mambo, Wild Wasabi card stocks
Stamp Set: Hello Again
Ink: Melon Mambo, Wild Wasabi, Daffodil Delight
Ribbon: Daffodil Delight
Big Shot and Square Lattice embossing folder
Itty Bitty Buttons
Ticket Corner punch

Elegant Vintage

Paper: Very Vanilla, Elegant Eggplant, Crumb Cake
Stamp Set: A Word for You
Big Shot and Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder
Ribbon: Elegant Eggplant 1/4 inch grosgrain, Crumb Cake taffeta (both are from past catalogs and not available right now)

And for card #4 each person has a choice of these 4. They can make two of the same or two different ones. This is a great way to use up scraps of DSP and card stock. The DSP I used for these is all retired and not available for ordering.

Paper: Crumb Cake, Real Red, Whisper White
Ink: Real Red
Stamp Set: Greenhouse Garden, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Tools: Scallop Oval, Small Oval

Card Stock and Ink: Daffodil Delight, Tempting Turquoise, Wild Wasabi
Stamp Set: Look Who's Turning

Card Stock: So Saffron, Real Red, Basic Black
Ink: Basic Black, Real Red

Card Stock and Ink: Real Red, Bashful Blue, Old Olive
Stamp Sets: After Thoughts, Itty Bitty Bits
If you like these cards, why not join us for the Card Party on Feb 18 at 6:30 p.m. 8 cards - 2 of each design - $10.00 Everything included! Hoping the sleet/snow is all done by then :-)
